Grades

Grades are what most Columbia students spend most of their time thinking about.

Possible grades include:

• A+, A, A-... Excellent performance
• B+, B, B-... Satisfactory
• C+, C, C-... Fair (see also Gentleman's C)
• D, Poor, effectively a failure
• F, Fail
• UW, Unofficial Withdrawal
• W, Withdrawal
• R, Registration credit
