I. A. L. Diamond Award
(Redirected from I.A.L. Diamond Award)
The I. A. L. Diamond Award for Achievement in the Arts is presented each spring by the Varsity Show to "Columbia or Barnard alumnus/a who has demonstrated continued commitment to and has found success in the arts." The award is named after academy award winner I. A. L. Diamond CC '41, the only Columbian to have written four Varsity Show scripts. It is often presented to past directors of the Varsity Show and, unlike some Columbia awards, tends to actually be a good gauge of alumni who are actually (or will be) famous.
