Uris Pool

Uris Pool is Columbia's on-campus swimming pool and is part of the Dodge Physical Fitness Center. Swimmers have purported that "Uris" is a colloquial contraction for "your penis." Though it is accessed through the fitness center, it is actually located beneath Uris Hall. It is here that Columbia College students are required to take the Swim Test, although a few never make it.

Fun fact: If the entire mens swim team were to take all of their lives' piss (assume 1 gallon/day) and dump it in the pool, they would fill 94% of uris pool!
