[[Columbia Outdoor Orientation Program|Columbia Outdoor Orientation Program]] (COÖP) is a pre-orientation program for incoming first-year students, which is divided into Hiking (HOP), Biking (BOP) and River Canoeing (ROP). If you enjoyed your trip when you were a first-year, or if you just want to get involved in the great outdoors, you can follow the steps below to apply to become a COÖP leader.

==Steps==

#Only first-year students and sophomores can apply to be leaders.
#The COÖP leadership application process begins at the start of the spring semester in late January.
#Applicants must attend one of the first two information sessions, and then attend all other mandatory events and the interview process to be considered for leadership.
