'''''Academic Recreations''''' was a [[student publication]] that came out in [[1815]]. The third known student publication in Columbia history, it was notable for being the first to be printed (as opposed to being a manuscript) and the first to be of any substance. Though ''Academic Recreations'' was only published for one semester by the [[Peithologian Society]], its members wrote over two hundred pages of essays and poetry.
