'''Casa Murano''' is a small house in Venice, Italy being developed into the '''Columbia Study Center in Venice'''. Originally the home and library of Italian art historian Michaelangelo Murano, its development into a Columbia facility has been facilitated by art history professor [[David Rosand]]. Columbia plans to turn Casa Murano into its Italian equivalent of what Paris study abroad facility, [[Reid Hall (Paris)|Reid Hall]], was until recently, when it was transformed into the much more grandiose "Columbia Global Center | Europe". As such, Casa Murano will remain one of the few Columbia properties abroad not converted into a [[Global Center]].
