The '''civil engineering''' major is filled with hardworking and kind students. Students take classes in civil engineering and engineering mechanics, with some classes shared with [[Earth and Environmental Engineering]]. Undergraduate students have the option to concentrate in Structural/Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or Water Resources/Environmental Engineering, with most students choosing Structural or Construction Management. Masters students concentrate in Computational and Data-Driven Engineering Mechanics, Construction Engineering and Management, Engineering Mechanics, Environmental Engineering and Water Resources, Forensic Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, and Structural Engineering. The major is associated with a highly active [[ASCE]] chapter on campus.
