The '''Columbia College Committee on Honors, Awards, and Prizes (COHAP)''' includes three faculty representatives. Its responsibilities include the final selection of [[Columbia College]] students nominated or eligible for undergraduate honors, awards, and prizes, including [[Latin phrases#Latin honors|College (Latin) honors]] and [[departmental honors]]. These include selection of the [[Valedictorian]] and [[Salutatorian]], and election to [[Phi Beta Kappa]]. The committee works in close concert with departmental [[Director of Undergraduate Studies|Directors of Undergraduate Studies]].
