'''Free Culture @ Columbia''' was an anti-copyright group, which opposed the RIAA and MPAA's attempts to curb [[file sharing]].

It was founded by [[Brendan Ballou]] and [[Rajesh Ramakrishnan]] in [[2007]].

Among its activities were the development of CU-LATOR, a Mac-based utility that blocks oversight of student internet use, and the distribution of flash drives with [[Core Curriculum]] texts<ref>http://bwog.com/2007/04/20/cu-lator-alligator/#comment-25313</ref>.
