'''Grupo Quisqueyano''', often referred to as '''GQ''', is the Dominican cultural organization on campus.  Founded in 1995, the group is recognized under the [[Activities Board at Columbia]] and seeks to raise awareness of Dominican and Dominican-American issues while celebrating Dominican culture.  It is one of the most prominent Latinx organizations on campus. 

The group takes its name from the native [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taino Taino] word for the island of Hispanola.
