In March of [[2002]], [[CUIT|AIS]] (Administrative Information Systems) launched a pilot of [https://my.columbia.edu/ MyColumbia], a portal based on the [http://www.uportal.org/ uPortal] code. MyColumbia officially launched 2 years later in September [[2004]] as part of AIS's new human resources and payroll application People@Columbia, an administrative system. Total impact on students in the last 5 years? None. The website offers no services to students except those employed by Columbia in work-study or non-work-study positions - they can look up their latest paycheck amount.
