'''Stop Hate On Columbia's Campus''' or '''SHOCC''' is an adhoc group established in response to the [[Ruggles vandalization incident]].

In Spring [[2006]], SHOCC initiated a series of '''[[protests]]''', issuing a series of demands to the [[administration]] to establish "[[safe space]]s", implement changes to the [[Core Curriculum]], and require students to undergo "[[anti-oppression training]]". The administration partially agreed to some of the demands, including the  implementation of "diversity training" as part of [[NSOP]], the hiring of an LGBTQ advisor and the move of LGBTQ groups to the [[Office of Multicultural Affairs]], and increase campus facilities deemed "safe space" (expanding the [[IRC]]).

SHOCC's website has not been updated since 2006 and little has been heard from the group since, if it still exists.
