'''Symposium''' is a fairly good Greek restaurant on 113th Street between [[Broadway (avenue)|Broadway]] and [[Amsterdam Avenue]]. It's owned by the same family as the [[Hungarian Pastry Shop]].

The food at Symposium is reasonably good. Make sure to try the sangria (chilled, sugary wine in a big carafe). For the extra hungry, get the peasant salad or the exohiko (a lamb-and-vegetable stuffed casserole). Also, it apparently serves good strong unfiltered coffee.

The waiters are friendly, and the atmosphere is great for groups. On Tuesday nights, Symposium offers a 20% discount for students.

On the downside, Symposium seems to suffer from ant and cockroach infestations.
