'''Terrace in the Sky''' (or '''TITS''') was an expensive "fine dining" restaurant. It was located on the top floor of [[Butler Hall]] (not to be confused with [[Butler Library]]) on the corner of [[119th Street]] and [[Morningside Drive]] and had a spectacular view of the city skyline. It was a popular destination for graduating students and their families during [[Commencement]] and other big occasions.

After declaring bankruptcy and undergoing a reorganization plan, Terrace in the Sky was finally forced to close in October [[2011]], after the University [[Trustees]] argued continuing to operate meant it was taking up valuable commercial space.
