River is a residence hall that almost exclusively houses seniors. It was completely gutted and renovated in the summer of 2001. River is located on 114th St close to Riverside Drive.
Residents are traditionally known as "River Rats".

Advantages
- Some rooms have a view of the Hudson.
- 117A/117B is a spacious walk-through double on the ground floor that usually goes to juniors.
- Beautiful lobby that feels like it belongs in a bed and breakfast hotel.
- Massive-screen TV in the basement lounge.
Disadvantages
- Uphill walk to campus, and even then, you're on the extreme southwestern part of it.
