*'''Delete''' - I agree with Pacman... Tao is notable. We should keep the article about him, especially since it doesn't contain any malicious or otherwise harmful information. If anything, an administrator could protect the article so that there's no risk someone will add malicious information in the future. Furthermore, I question why WikiCU should remove its basic non-harmful article about Tao when, for example, Bwog probably isn't going to pull down it's much more extensive, much more potentially damaging articles about him. So why am I voting to delete? I think it's in the interests of WikiCU to respect people in the Columbia community and especially respect the wishes of people who have contributed a great deal to the site. If Tao wants the article deleted, we should delete it. Tao, please reconsider! {{User:Reaganaut/sig}} 12:25, 19 May 2007 (EDT)

Nomination for Deletion

  • Delete - I graduated. My talk page will be sufficient. Ttan 10:28, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
  • Delete - Although I feel bad about deleting someone who's being surprisingly humble. Nonsensical 10:32, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
  • Keep - come on, Tao, lots of people knew who you were - you're at least as notable as Riddhi. Unless it contains malicious information, which you can delete, it's not going to ruin your career path. Pacman 12:54, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
  • Terminate - Whatever Tao wants, Tao gets. Feinstein 21:09, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
  • Leave Blank - I wish Tao wanted to stay, but if he wants not to have a page, maybe he shouldn't. that said, how do you permanently prevent someone from putting up inane spam? Possibly you should make a Tao Tan page that says "page left blank at request of Tao Tan". Or at least "this space intentionally left blank" (with discussion page left intact to discuss). Foobar 22:27, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
I'm going to continue contributing. I just don't think this page is necessary since I'm gone. Ttan 22:47, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
That's inconsistent with every other recent alumnus. 72.74.81.234 03:20, 19 May 2007 (EDT)
