Michael Rosenthal is the Roberta and William Campbell Professor for the Literature Humanities in the English Department and a wicked cool guy to have for Lit Hum.
He's written a number of books. His most recent, entitled Nicholas Miraculous, was on former University President Nicholas Murray Butler; he's also written books on Baden-Powell and Virginia Woolf.
