The Last Word was a charming, cramped, dusty used books store located on the northeast corner of 118th St. and Amsterdam Ave. The store was opened by GS alumnus Dondi Clark and his wife Karen, a Barnard alumna,[1] and closed after 12 years of operation on September 30, 2005.[2] The site is now occupied by the much less interesting Village Copier.<ref>Village Copier Gets the Last Word - The Spectator 10-13-05
