1020 is a reasonably good bar on Amsterdam Avenue at 110th St. It was once the low-key haunt of grad students and hipsters. Today, although it continues to skew a little older, 1020 is now home to a more energetic crowd.
The bar boasts a dart board and one of the neighborhood's only respectable pool tables. It also comes with friendly bartenders and a groovy decor. Random movies are projected onto a large screen in the back.
