Butler Sex refers to the act of hooking up in Butler Library. Most hookups occur in the stacks after hours ("staxxion"), accessible through the basement. This much mythologized subculture of Columbia is driven by the unique pressurized scene that makes Butler a petri dish for desperate social interactions.
