H. F. "Gerry" Lenfest Law '58 is a trustee of the university, and a major sugar daddy. Lenfest made his fortune by buying a small cable television system in Pennsylvania and selling it years later to Comcast for $1.2 Billion.[1]

Along with Lenfest Hall, the law school residence hall he helped fund, Lenfest Cafe and the adjoining lounge in Jerome Greene Hall are named in recognition for his support of the school.
