West Hall was a building located directly west of Low Library. Like Buell Hall, West Hall was a leftover from the days of the Bloomingdale Insane Asylum. It housed a number of offices and student group space, including the Philolexian Society and the Spectator. It was eventually demolished, but can still be seen in early drawings and pictures of the campus.

West Hall was part of the Asylum's main complex. Separate from West Hall was the Superintendent's House, which had housed the Men's Faculty Club. It mirrored the location of Buell and was demolished to make way for Dodge Hall. Faculty House was built as a new space for the faculty.
