Whole Foods Market is a supermarket that sells natural, organic, and local products which include seafood, antipasto specialties, meat, breads, salads, beer, wine, cheese, flowers, pet products, and household products.
WFM has three locations in Manhattan:
- On the south side of Union Square
- At Columbus Circle in the basement of the Time Warner Center
- On Houston between Bowery and Chrystie in the Lower East Side/Soho
Rumors indicate a fourth location will be opened within a few years on the Upper West Side at the 808 Columbus development.
West Side Market, Milano Market, and Garden of Eden all make fairly good substitutes for WFM if you can't be bothered heading downtown.
