Stuyvesant Fish CC 1871 was the son of Hamilton Fish, also a Columbia alumnus and President Grant's Secretary of State. Stuyvesant played on the Columbia football team in its inaugural season of 1870. He would later go on to become president of the Illinois Central Railroad and one of the most powerful "rail barons" of the early 20th Century.
