Joseph Gordon-Levitt is an actor who attended Columbia from 2000 to 2004, presumably in GS. Best known for starring in the sitcom Third Rock from the Sun, Gordon-Levitt is now an indie film staple. While at Columbia he studied history, literature, and French, becoming a professed Francophile and acknowledging that his time at the university helped him to grow up. Nevertheless, he dropped out again as soon as the acting bug struck him.
