Havana Central at The West End is a bar on Broadway between 113th and 114th St. It used to be a legendary student hang-out called The West End, whose clients included the likes of Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, and Lauyrn Hill. Then, in spring 2006, it was bought by the Havana Central chain and converted into a boring Cuban restaurant/bar over the summer. Many people were sad to see The West End close.
