Matt Gonzalez CC '87 was the vice presidential running mate for the independent 2008 presidential candidacy of Ralph Nader. A native of McAllen, Texas, he formerly sat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and has a JD from Stanford. At Columbia, he double majored in comparative literature and political science and was a member of the debate team.
