The Alumni Representative Committee is a part of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions run in conjunction with the Columbia College Alumni Association and the Columbia Engineering School Alumni Association. Essentially, these are the people who interview you when you applied. There are approximately 5,000 members of ARC worldwide. Due to location and logistical complications, roughly half of Columbia's applicant pool are offered an interview.
