Tomo is a Japanese and Sushi restaurant on Broadway at 110th St.
The restaurant isn't great, and the sushi certainly isn't anything special, but it's fairly reliable. They have lots of classic dishes on their menu, and their ingredients are pretty fresh. The service is acceptable, but very slow. It's better than the owners' other local restaurant, Caffe Swish, which has particularly sadistic servers.
Ironically, Tomo's owners announced (in 2009) that the restaurant would be closed and consolidated at Swish, which will become all-Japanese.
