Starting in 1993, the Fu Foundation Scholars program each year awarded scholarship to several students of Chinese descent, with the awards being divided between Columbia College and the Engineering School. The 1997 year's Fu Foundation Scholars include students from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. [1] [2]
