Whitney Green

Whitney Green is the current President of the Engineering Student Council. She was elected in spring 2009 by the ESC. She is an IEOR major originally from New Jersey. Prior to serving as president, Whitney served as secretary of the council, as well as official liaison to GSSC.

During her time as president, Green worked on the academic calendar issue, presenting a joint resolution with CCSC President Sue Yang to the University Senate that proposed starting the fall semester a week earlier in years where Labor Day falls later in the calendar. She also worked to create more efficiency between CCSC and ESC, drawing the two often separate councils closer in terms of policy and programming than they had ever been.
