D'Ag Fresh Market is a supermarket at Broadway and 110th St, on the ground floor of the building that houses Columbia's K-8 private school. An upscale variant of New York City supermarket chain D'Agostino, it's the closest thing to a suburban supermarket in Morningside Heights. It's not big, but the aisles are relatively wide, the shelves are organized, and glossy signs announce all the specials. Too bad the prices are very much Manhattan. Some of the produce is a bit stale, but they do a good job of featuring local growers in season. There's also a pretty big selection of prepared foods.
