Why should your guest get a guest pass
In order for a visitor to enter and exit their hosts’ residence hall alone, they must obtain a Guest Pass. Guest Passes will only be issued if the guest/visitor has a valid photo ID.
How to get a guest pass
In order to get a a guest pass, a host and guest/visitor must go to Public Safety (in 111 Low) together and valid photo ID.
Rules for guest passes
- A host may obtain no more than three guest passes at one time.
- Guest passes are limited to five days in any consecutive 30 day period. An overnight stay is defined as any stay within the hours of 11:00pm and 8:00am.
- Guest passes are only available when classes are in session.
- Guest passes will not be issued during the early arrival, winter break, interim, or other periods as deemed necessary.
