David Madigan is the chair of the Statistics Department and the current Interim Executive Vice President for Arts and Sciences and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (the guy has quite a title). President Bollinger named him to the interim role in 2013 after Nicholas Dirks stepped down the previous year.
Biography
Madigan is originally from Ireland, staying in suit with Bollinger's penchant for naming people with charming accents to important posts. He received his degrees from Trinity College, Dublin, and has worked for a variety of companies and universities, including AT&T Labs, CBT Systems, and Rutgers University.
