The Columbia Glacier is a pack of ice located in the Prince William Sound on the south coast of Alaska. Named after our university, it is surrounded by other glaciers named after prestigious universities. Appropriately enough, the Columbia Glacier is one of the fastest-moving glaciers in the world. Naturally, the Barnard glacier resides nearby.
There is a Columbia Glacier located in Washington state, but it appears to have no relation to Columbia University.
