Sarah Maslin Nir CC ’05 J ’09 was a columnist for the Columbia Daily Spectator. She majored in Political Science and Philosophy. After graduation, she attended Columbia's J-School and wrote a blog covering the Bronx.
She then got an internship at the New York Times, where she wrote a column about nightlife called Nocturnalist.[1] On May 1st, 2013, she was promoted to a full-time New York Times metro reporter.[2]
Basically, she's living every Speccie's dream.
