Baker Blast celebrates the first home game of the football season. The Athletics Department provides free shirts and booze to students (though said booze is not allowed inside Wien Stadium). Columbia usually wins this game as its always against a nonconference whipping boy (like Fordham, every other year).
The next Baker Blast will take place on September 22, 2007 against Marist. Since the game takes place on Rosh Hashana, kickoff time has not yet been determined.
