Computer science (CS) is a major for people whose goal in college is to be bothered with irritating computer help questions by casual acquaintances. It is similar to Computer Engineering, except that it focuses more on software and less on hardware. It is one of the few majors that is offered in both SEAS (BS degree) and CC (BA degree), as well as BC and probably GS.
