Dennis Dalton is a PoliSci professor at Barnard who joined the 2007 multi-purpose hunger strike. He continued to drink juice and water, though, probably because his wife is a nutritionist.
In April 2008, he announced his retirement as Barnard's professor of political theory. Dalton had taught there for nearly 40 years.
