Lydia Goehr (surname pronounced like "Goethe" without the -teh sound) is a popular philosophy professor known for her sass and the quality of her teaching. In 2005, she received a Columbia University Presidential Award for Outstanding Teaching and in 2008 was a recipient of GSAC's Faculty Mentoring Award.
