Stewart hanging out with Barnard President Debora Spar

Martha Stewart BC '63 is a prominent personality who graduated from Barnard. Not exactly helping to dissipate stereotypes about Barnard girls, she married while in college, briefly dropped out to model, and is now usually found in a kitchen.

In 2004, as part of C250, Spec ranked her the sixth best Columbia student of all time[1]. Barnard Public affairs refused to comment on that [2].
