The Women's Soccer Team is one of Columbia's varsity sports teams.
History
The program was started in 1986. Kevin McCarthy '85CC coached the program from 1994-2013. He famously threw his 1993 Men's Soccer championship ring into the Hudson River around 1998 and turned to his team and told them to get him a new one.[1] They did in 2006.
