Book Scanners are a poor student's best friend. Some classes have books in the library reserves that can be checked out for up to two hours. You can find all the scanners on campus right [http://library.columbia.edu/technology/scanning.html here] but I like using the ones [[Butler]] 304. I'd recommend saving every chapter, and if you are scanning a whole book, let the people in line behind you go after you've done 2 or 3 chapters.. You can either save them to your usb or send the scans directly to your columbia email.

Book scanners are a poor student's best friend. Some classes have books in the library reserves that can be checked out for up to two hours.

Locations

You can find all the scanners on campus right here but I like using the ones Butler 304. I'd recommend saving every chapter, and if you are scanning a whole book, let the people in line behind you go after you've done 2 or 3 chapters.. You can either save them to your usb or send the scans directly to your columbia email.
