The Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Race (CSER) is an interdisciplinary research and teaching space. CSER administers three majors: Asian-American Studies, Comparative Ethnic Studies, and Latino/a Studies.
It was launched in the fall of 1999 in response to the student hunger strike that took place between April 9 and April 15, 1996.
