109 Gourmet Deli is a few blocks away on Amsterdam Ave. from local Columbia bar, 1020. Nicknamed CrackDel and 40s-are-us. Notably delivered 40s to freshman dorms.
After a police sting in 2013 lost them their liquor license, and Bloomberg raised the city's smoking age to 21, business has never been better!
Spicy Special
Incredibly tasty sandwich. It consists of Boar's Head Cajun Turkey, Pepper Jack Cheese, Onion, Green Pepper, Spicy Peppers, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo, and Spicy Mustard on your choice of a toasted roll or hero.
For $4.49, a free soda, and extremely late night availability, nothing in the Columbia vicinity comes close, except for Koronets and the no-longer existent Columbia Bagel.
Photos of the sandwich are unavailable. They are so delicious that the thought of photographing it never enters the consciousness.
