A Community Programming Assistant or CPA was a student hired by the Office of Residential Programs who was charged with supervising area-wide programming for a residence hall. Like RAs, CPAs received free housing and a $600 stipend.

CPA duties included:

  • Feeding the residents of the CPA's assigned area
  • Feeding the residents of other areas that show up anyway
  • Busting parties
  • Fighting the noble war on drugs, tobacco, and in first year dorms, alcohol (or looking the other way and generally not caring much about it at all)
  • Spamming the building
