The Center for the Study of Science and Religion (CSSR) is a forum for the examination of issues through scientific and religious perspectives. It is a center within the Earth Institute.

The center was founded by Robert E. Pollack. He is still the center's director. He is also a professor of biological sciences, adjunct professor of science and religion at Union Theological Seminary, and adjunct professor of religion at Columbia.
