In March of 2013, Dean [[Kevin Shollenberger]] reversed the [[Greek Judicial Board]]'s decision to revoke the charter. The fraternity agreed to follow a plan of action drawn up by the University following Shollenberger's decision.

In Spring 2015, two Columbia students got in touch with ZBT’s National Headquarters with interest of bringing back the fraternity to campus. In Fall of 2015, recruiters from ZBT Nationals arrived on campus to help re-establish a chapter. Seven Columbia students were initiated into ZBT’s new chapter at Columbia.  Now with a total of 32 students, the chapter is currently growing. The chapter received a charter on March 26, 2017.
