D'Ag Fresh Market was a supermarket at Broadway and 110th St, on the ground floor of the building that houses Columbia's K-8 private school. It closed in April of 2016, and was replaced by H-Mart. An upscale variant of New York City supermarket chain D'Agostino, it was the closest thing to a suburban supermarket in Morningside Heights. It was not big, but the aisles were relatively wide, the shelves were organized, and glossy signs announced all the specials. Too bad the prices were very much Manhattan. Some of the produce was a bit stale, but they did a good job of featuring local growers in season. There was also a pretty big selection of prepared foods.
