Watt offers a great apartment-style setting with both studio singles and doubles. This building is a pre-war construction, converted to a graduate residence hall in 1977, and into an undergraduate residence in 1996 when Furnald Hall was closed for renovations. Since its inception, it has been one of the most popular and desired residence halls on campus. Seniors with strong lottery numbers usually pick into the spacious singles and two bedroom doubles. Seniors with midrange to weak lottery numbers pick into the one bedroom doubles, while lucky juniors and sophomores are sometimes able to snag the studio doubles.
Watt was built according to a design by Benjamin Levitan.
